Job Description:

The Business Operations Manager is a cornerstone of our team, responsible for a wide range of essential functions including strategic recruitment efforts, managing accounts payable with precision, overseeing seamless operations, and enhancing internal communications. Collaborating closely with the CEO, you will offer strategic insights and oversee the execution of initiatives, ensuring alignment with our overarching goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting: Spearhead the recruitment strategy, enhancing our employer brand to attract exceptional talent. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process—designing role- specific strategies, optimizing job postings for maximum visibility, meticulously screening applicants, and orchestrating a candidate-friendly interview process.
  • Accounts Payable: Oversee the accounts payable function with a keen eye for detail, ensuring all financial transactions are executed flawlessly. This includes streamlining invoice processing, negotiating payment terms to optimize cash flow, and conducting regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Operations Management: Lead operational excellence across the company, identifying opportunities for process improvement. Implement operational controls, manage critical supplier relationships, and ensure all business activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Develop and monitor key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Chief of Staff to the CEO: Serve as the right hand to the CEO, acting as a conduit for clear communication between the CEO and the team. Provide strategic counsel, manage high-priority projects, and ensure the CEO's vision is translated into actionable plans. Facilitate decision-making processes and ensure alignment across the organization.
  • Communications Management: Develop and oversee a comprehensive internal communications strategy to ensure effective information flow across the organization. This includes managing internal communication platforms, crafting clear and impactful messages, and fostering a culture of open communication. Collaborate with various departments to ensure that all communications align with our company values and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in business operations, showcasing a track record of operational excellence, financial acumen, and talent management.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, capable of managing diverse teams and projects.
  • Strategic thinker with a meticulous attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Advanced communication skills, adept at engaging with a variety of audiences and facilitating effective information exchange.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong understanding of accounting software and internal communication tools.
